1. Glowing Halloween Light Pods

The night of Halloween is always full of mystery. Spark the curiosity of your neighbors by decorating the tree with glowing pods! They’re actually ball shaped paper mache that’s structured with the help of a balloon. After leaving it to dry and harden, put a glow stick inside before hanging them under the tree. It looks kinda magical and the greenish glow makes it look like something sinister and not safe to be approached. Kinda cool huh?

2. Glowing Eyes

Freak out your neighbors by giving them intense eye contact right from the bushes around your house! This easy decorative bush craft can be made using glow sticks and toilet rolls. Cut out the eye shape from the toilet rolls using scissors and put a glow stick in there. If you want wider ones, combine two toilet rolls together. You can tape both ends of the tube so it won’t fall off that easily. Be sure to put up some caution tapes to warn your visitors of these monsters!

6. Ghost Tree

Ready for some creepy ghost tree! They’re actually ping pong balls. You have to poke a hole with a knife for you to slot the fairy lights in. The cloth covering the ball is hardened with PVA glue. PVA glue stiffens fabric permanently once the glue hardens. Dilute the glue using equal parts of glue and water and mix continuously to obtain a paste with an even consistency. Use paint brush to apply the glue onto the fabric. Craft the fabric into the desired shape and leave to dry. Apply more coats, depending on how stiff you want your material to be.Draw some ghost faces on it after that. Then, wrap the whole thing around a wooden branch. See the tutorial via link below for a clearer guide.

Here’s another great lighting using fairy lights and ping pong balls. The spider in this idea is actually a tattoo sticker. You could stick spider patterned papers on it as an alternative. If you’re not into spider, you could change it into eyeballs! Just draw a creepy eye onto the ping pong ball and you’re halfway there!
