DIY Shelves For Living Room

Shelves are an amazing wall storage unit. Some designer shelves looks pretty darn amazing and decorate the wall wonderfully. But, we’re not gonna spend money on that. Instead, we’re gonna go for cheaper DIY shelves that too has their own uniqueness. How unique? You gotta see it for yourself!

1. Tree Branch Shelf

8. Vintage Books Faux Shelf

Anyway, this is something similar but with a different new look. The middle book looks as if it’s really floating. And, yes, they’re made with real books. Rather than real vintage books, the creator printed the cover of the vintage books and glue them onto any books of the same thickness instead. It’s actually quite hard to find vintage books with the same length. Then, the pages are cut out to allow a wooden board to fit across the 3 books. That’s the magic behind it.

9. Glass Window Shelf

The creator coincidentally has two shelves set up side by side between a window. So, she took advantage of it. The shelf really looks amazing. Not only it allow you to see through what’s on it. The glass transparency also doesn’t obstruct the window view. So, it matches perfectly with the default interior design of the house.

There’s a shelf for everything even your tv set! The shelf isn’t just good for putting on your karaoke set, media player and remote control, it also double as a nice floating decor.
