1. Jump Start

Sometimes, we’re careless and left the car without switching the head lights off. Then, when we come back, we couldn’t start the car because the battery ran out. This had happened to me before. Just tilt your head. Actively tilting your head is an effective way to prevent the symptoms because it synchronizes the body with the motion.

4. Defrost Windshield The Quick Way

Mix 1 part of water and 2 parts of rubbing alcohol together. Then, spray it on the windshield. This trick works because rubbing alcohol has lower freezing point than water. Even when water freezes first, rubbing alcohol will still remain in liquid form. It might be a good idea to keep this in your trunk just in case.

Car is awesome as it doesn’t only provides mobility but also shelter from the unforgiving sun all thanks to the built-in air conditioner. However, the difference in temperature inside the car with outside may cause an annoying fog problem. If it forms on the inside, you can probably wipe it off with a cloth. But, sometimes the fog can form outside the window. When this happens, we may not always be convenient to stop by the road side to give the windows a wipe. There is a way to protect the window from fogging with the use of shaving cream.

Simply spray the window with shaving cream and wipe it off with cloth. The idea works because the protective layer prevents the fog from forming up. You can apply the same idea to prevent bathroom mirrors from fogging up due to shower steam.

There’s certain scientific reasons to why birds poop on certain cars more than others. Avoid parking under trees is one no brainer. Other than that, choosing the color too matters. Study shows that the color red attracts the most bird poop followed by blue. So, if you’re buying a new car, bear this in mind. Bird poop can actually cause damage to your car. It may remove some paint work and leave some dull cloudy mark on your car.

Carabiner is a very useful mountain climbing gear. Little do we know, it actually have a special place in our car as well. Make use of the vertical space in the car by using carabiners as bag hooks. You can directly hang your grocery bags on these instead of putting them in the car trunk.
