If you have old dressers, don’t throw the entire thing away. Salvage the drawers! Or better yet, salvage the drawers and turn the rest of them into scrap woods that you can use later. There’s lots of ideas on what to do with pallets and scrap woods. But, that’s another story for another time. A lot of junks that we have can be repurposed into something useful. 1. Plant Stand
The plant stand is a simple yet elegant project that you can try. You don’t even need to have wood working skills for this. The legs of this DIY is actually a folding tray table. The drawer is merely attached to it using wood glue. You can coat it with paint as finishing touch. It’s just the right thing to put your planters on or other things that you think is suitable.

2. Bright Side Table
Large drawers make a nice side table too. Give it a new paint job and install table legs to elevate it to the desired height and you’re done.
3. Coffee Table
Every living room needs a coffee table. But, every living room will get a hand made coffee table! Despite it’s just an upside down drawer with legs, it doesn’t look cheap at all.
4. Headboard
Create a headboard for your bed with drawers! You can put ornaments on these drawer shelves. I really like how they colored it to fit the color scheme of the bedroom.
5. Wall Shelves
Drawers makes good shelves. I like how the creator shift the middle drawer slightly to the left. It allows a taller ornament to be placed right there.

6. Under Bed Storage
Don’t let the boogeyman live under your bed! Stuff it with a wheeled drawer. You can easily pull it out to store your clothes and towels.

This ottoman isn’t just an ordinary ottoman. You can take off the seat cushion and reveal an extra storage space underneath.
